Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are getting more efficient. They pass our tests on cleaning and are able to handle various floors. Look for My Source that allow you to select between several modes, utilize their charging docks to automatically empty and clean stairs.
Many of the top models are compatible with your smartphone. Look for an app that allows you to save schedules, maps and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combos available on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate, and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set up schedules and modify the S1's behaviour.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which has flooring in the dining area, kitchen, and bathrooms and a large rugs and a medium-pile. It was able to drive right up to walls without hitting them, and was able to cross thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, but it sometimes struggled to get down the stairs in one move. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and swung up when it was near carpets or carpets.
After every mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's tank of water holds enough for about a dozen cleaning sessions before it needs to be cleaned, although it will differ based on how much you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. In order to do this, you'll have to clean the dirty water tank occasionally to prevent it from clogging. You will also need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them becoming blocked by dust or dirt. However, overall the S1 is easy to maintain, especially when compared to other models that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robot mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a powerful option for cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8,700Pa of suction and offers many innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans around furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of just drag a pad across a surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station when needed.
This robot has a simple interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum which can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are also two water tanks which are automatically filled or empty. It also has a range of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily picks up most debris and even the smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty robust, however it is sometimes hung up on the tiny area mats or rugs that I have in my home (which is something you can mitigate by defining a virtual boundary within the application). The mopping feature is pretty good as well, with a pair of spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub the floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. Mops can also be replenished at the top of the station if needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their new flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-off maintenance, making it a clear contender for our top mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition, and an extended side brush guarantee an efficient, customized clean.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It works equally well on hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our tests' dirtiest areas well, eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other dirt. The sweeping capability of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that extends to reach hard-to-reach areas, and mop pads that extend across baseboards.
Its navigation is smart it can navigate narrow spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It can move from one room to the next without needing to reverse the direction. This is beneficial for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than its competitors however, and tends to leave a thick space around obstacles, which could result in missed spots.
The app is streamlined and intuitive interface that will be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, adjust mopping and suction power settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and more. It is accessible through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri which allows you to keep an eye on its progress from any location. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. But, you'll require a reliable internet connection to use it via the app as well as external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum does an excellent job of removing dirt and debris, but it can't always get every last bit of dust. It's important to vacuum often, at least once a week. This is especially important for dust that collects in corners, on shelves and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed specifically for this purpose. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and also works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's more pricier S-series models, including the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It is equipped with a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on cost by removing mopping functions and using a lower-cost plastic body.
The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've seen in this price range, even though it's not equipped to clean your floor. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It comes with a smart application which allows you to schedule cleaning and determine the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling system and washing system for hands-free operation.
The mops are also quite impressive, with 2700Pa of power to tackle dust, dirt, and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't have any trouble with high-pile carpets and area rug, but it was unable to remove cat litter or cable tangles and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we've tested. It also utilizes a unique system to map your home this really helps it get into places that other vacuums can't reach. This device also stores dust in a larger bin which means you have empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters which reduces the cost. The robot can also recognize carpets and boost the suction if needed. You can also mark off areas you want to be able to keep from using the app.
